傳統的髮線過高治療方式多是以植髮為主, 其手術方式與男性的禿頭類似, 即是取用後枕部的毛髮來移植至額頭的髮際線處. 但這類手術的過程冗長且維護不易, 日後較容易產生局部掉髮或髮線不齊等問題, 因此讓許多患者裹足不前. 目前針對女性或是男性非禿頭病因的髮線過高患者, 莊醫師採用了最新的髮線降低手術, 合併五爪鉤的頭皮內固定方式能夠將整個髮線完整下移, 免除了傳統植髮手術的風險與後遺症. 此手術的做法是先沿著髮際線與額頭皮膚交界處做完全的切開, 由此處向頭皮下方的腱膜做大範圍的撥離直至頭皮中央處, 讓前方1/2的頭皮可以與骨膜分離後, 再對腱膜表面做多重的電燒切割使得頭皮得以放鬆至最大的延展性, 最後將放鬆的頭皮下拉至新的髮線位置並以五爪鉤固定, 即可切除多餘的額頭皮膚並縫合髮線的傷口。
